Caught The Ugly Truth yesterday (but really, I still prefer The Proposal ;p)

As the guy “reveals” the thoughts behind guys’ minds, I was seriously wondering if there can be a guy who can see a girl beyond boobs, butt and sex.

But I was wondering why is it that I didn’t realise the guy (who was supposed to help the girl get a boyfriend) likes the girl. So much so that I need my guy friend to point that out, when he said that guy must be feeling heartbroken.

Uh…..

Sometimes I wonder if I am really a guy. Hahaha!

P.S.: That date in the movie is damn hot la! Hahah!

The Time Traveler’s Wife

Managed to catch The Time Traveler’s Wife last weekend.

I think I watched the trailer while watching The Proposal last week, and I was taken away by the romantic scenes. Hahaha!

Turned out, I guess the trailer is better than the actual movie

I think the scenes were not properly linked, and the emotions were just on the surface. I could hardly feel the emotions while watching.

It’s a better bet to just get the book. Hehe…

The Proposal

Just watched The Proposal.

Almost teared towards the end, as Sandra Bullock “explained” why she had been single for a long time.

Just what I had been wondering abt.

Is it because we are used to it, it’s easier for us to handle, or simply cos we’re afraid of heartbreaks?

Star Trek (2009)

Watched Star Trek yesterday!!!

It is so good! Each scene is seemed to be full of excitement and gan-cheong-ness. Hahaha..

It seems to be quite futuristic, and perhaps there are some loopholes in the “time travel” theory. But the graphics and male leads (huge eye candies) will make you forget about the loopholes.

Detroit Metal City (DMC)

Watched “Detriot Metal City (DMC)” on Mon evening.

Woo, it’s damn funny la! Hahaha..

The movie is about this simple minded boy (Soichi Negishi) from country side, moving on to Tokyo for studies. His dream is to become a singer (Swedish pop music??), however ended up being the vocalist for a satanic metal band – DMC.

The story line is quite simple, however I am amazed by how good this actor is. He can be “soft” and “gentle” and “funny” when he is Soichi; when the scene jumped to him performing on stage, he is damn rocker la!! Haha…

Guess the whole movie is talking about youngsters and dreams and music. It was quite touching towards the end of the movie too.. Aside from the coarse language used at times, that is.. Hehe..

“No music. No dream.” (in Japanese accent ;p)

Not a serious movie, but definitely worth it. Watch more trailers here.

P.S.1: I never realised Kenichi Matsuyama is L in Death Note. Matsuyama-san!!! So different!!!!!

P.S.2: Colleague and me realised the Engrish used in the movie by the Nihonjin-s are so alike to what we are hearing everyday. ;p

Mamma Mia!

I was (still) feeling down and blue. Frustrated, yet I do not know if it was just me.

Felt very sian to head home after vocal class, so very impromptu-ly asked if Ah Tay wanted to meet in town.

And he said ok!

So ended up I poured my grievances with him listening (and I meant really listen with empathy). I was glad I found someone who can relate to my pain. It’s not that I wanted someone to say what I wanted to hear. But I just felt relieved at that instant. I didn’t know why.

And we watched Mamma Mia!!! Love love love!!!

I cannot imagine I can get high when I see Meryl Streep sing Dancing Queen! Woo, super high!!!

LOL…

But I think if you are looking more for story plot, you won’t be happy with this film. But if you are going to just relax and indulge in the fun aspects of the entire film + the music, you’ll definitely enjoy this film.
